This lake plan is an action-oriented plan developed by the community, in consultation with local governments and agencies, to reflect and preserve the special character and ecological health of the lakes(Clear, Ston(e)y and White Lakes).
The 3-year, four- phase process was completed in the summer of 2008
Action plans are taking shape in 2010!

The website had a lot of email about the low water levels on stony lakes this spring(2010). Here are comments taken from an email exchange I had with Gordon Earle, Water Resources Technologist for the Otonabee Region Conservation Authority for the reasons for this years low water levels. I suggest you read The Control of Water Levels article first. It gives a framework on how the TSW manges the water levels.
