$350,000 Pledged to Save Pagoda Print E-mail

      stoney_lake_letter_final.jpgDear friends of Ston(e)y Lake,

As you may know, the ASLC is raising funds to Rebuild the Juniper Island Wharf and Pagoda  because we are at risk of losing the Pagoda over the coming winter if we do not take action now.

First off, thank you to all that have donated. The campaign is going well!  So far we have received donations and pledges, totaling more than $350,000.
A great start with our goal of $500,000 in sight.

If you have not  donated to the campaign and are planning to do so please forward your donation (or intent) by September 1!  If  enough money is pledged by Sept 1st. construction will begin after Thanksgiving.

All  Donations to the Foundation are tax deductable and should be made out to the Stony Lake Heritage Foundation.   Donations can be made by cheque, by credit card (VISA, Mastercard or American Express) or in cash by printing, completeing and dropping off the form (General Donation Form) at the Juniper Island Store in the specially marked mailbox. The form can also be mailed to the foundation to the address on the form.  You can also donate shares of publicly traded companies by following the instructions on the securities form (Securities Donation Form ).

We need everyone's help to bring this project to a successful conclusion so if you have not contributed please consider making a contribution, large or small, to help us rebuild this vital and historic facility.

    Blair Mackenzie    (Fundraising Committee Chair)
