This Page will present the results of two questions presented to 36 candidates across 4 townships. These are the two questions asked and the candidates were asked to present their position on each item. The questions are: 1 How would you vote ( that is support or deny) any future development on and around the lake? This would include (but not be limited to) The former Fraser Property, (Burleigh Falls). Development in the Hulls Bay area ( north east part of lake) and possible Eels Creek area. (central east area of lake)
2 The control of pollution in the lake ( includes chemical and invasive species ( fish and weeds). How would you vote/what do you know regarding upholding current measures and supporting new measures such as septic tank inspection programs to help curb septic runoff; shoreline conservation and best management practices to prevent fertilizer runoff; and boating practices to avoid spreading some invasive species such as Starry Stonewort.
